The ODYSSEA SUDOE project is part of the priority intended to support sustainable urban development and aims to increase the socio-economic dynamism of municipalities and regions of the SUDOE by inserting it into networking. The project determines the definition of a new project territory historical meaning "Land-Sea Interface" that integrates obligatorily: regional sea basin navigation, canals and rivers (inland waters), harbor and river cities, rural areas. In all periods of our history, maritime and river life profoundly said the economy of the cities in the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts, as well as their connections through rivers with inner cities, their culture and heritage. The ultimate goal is to create thanks to the positive effects of transnational cooperation a network of sea and river cities structured based on a logic of sustainable management and sustainable common thanks to the recovery of historical itineraries Land-Sea, heritage, cultural landscapes and know to do.
